MathCounts
We are excited to launch a Mathcounts program at Huerta!
Mathcounts is a national program for students in grades 6-8. It is open to all students and will offer a fun, supportive environment to tackle engaging math problems both individually and working together in teams. Meetings will take place every Wednesday after school from 3:00-4:00 PM in Mr. Mahoney’s classroom (Room 405) - starting August 26th. Beginning in February, our school team will compete in regional level competitions. The winners will advance to the state and national competitions. With all the amazing math talent we have in our school, we know we can assemble a solid team and put Huerta on the math map!
