Parent Lunch

 

Parent lunch on campus is one of the fun and exciting events that Dolores Huerta Middle School offers every year.  Each grade level is assigned two days, one during first semester and one during second semester. Parents can come and eat with their students on the lower field of campus.  Parents love this because they get to see their kids on campus and kids love it because parents bring a yummy lunch for them to eat.  Please see the expectations for Parent Lunch on Campus below.  

• You must run your id through the raptor system in the main office prior to the day of the lunch on campus.  The raptor system will not be available at the gate.  If you have not run your ID, you will not be allowed on campus.
• You may only attend the day of the grade level your student is in.
• Entry will be through the Oak Street Gate by the basketball courts.  You must bring your id with you to show to our volunteers at the gate.  They will check the list of previously registered id’s through raptor.
• Families will eat on the grass of the lower field.  Please bring your own blankets and chairs.  If it is hot, you are welcome to bring umbrellas and/or easy-ups (this is recommended).
• You will not be permitted to wander around campus.  This time is intended to be used to eat with your child.  If you leave the designated area without checking in with a Huerta Supervisor, you will not be allowed to return for another parent lunch on campus this year.
